This course will enable students to develop an understanding of the principles, concepts and techniques of accounting. They will study Management accounting, budgeting and cash flow forecasts, variance analysis, investment appraisal, absorption costing, marginal costing, decision making, contract costing and stock evaluation, Company accounts and interpretation, preparing accounts for limited companies that comply with the Companies Act, cash flow statements, company finance, ratio analysis including stock market ratios to evaluate performance and manufacturing account.

Students are assessed through examination

Entry Requirements
Students should have AS Accounting at grade E and GCSE Maths at grade C or above.
