This course will enable students to develop an understanding of the principles, concepts and techniques of accounting which involves recording, presenting and analysing the transactions of a business. They will learn how to prepare a profit and loss account and a balance sheet for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and how to use the results for making comparisons and decision making.
