This course is designed for participants who operate or administer the Automated Cartridge System Library Software ACSLS. Identify major hardware and software components including the SL8500 and SL500, describe the ACSLS Server processes. Understand tape pool configuration, perform tape pool maintenance, describe the Access Control process, Identify the ACSLS logs and their specific purposes and identify and perform the ACSLS Install and Configuration. Explain the troubleshooting and diagnostic programs. Describe the ACSLS and High Availability HA components and components and functions.
